Doubt it. National Grid don't supply to the public. They provide to energy suppliers.

Wouldn't it? It wouldn't be the first time, either. WD has a lot of modules - my specialisation is payroll and absence systems, not recruitment thank goodness

I was overseeing a payroll and HR implementation programme back in 2018/19. Recruiting a contract PM was one of the hardest roles I've ever had to recruit. Rates were high and all the candidates we were looking at seemed to have multiple offers.

It reminded me of my SAP days in the late 90s when people assumed (incorrectly) that I carried my money around in a wheelbarrow LOL.

I thought the Workday bandwagon would go on for a long time but it seems to have tailed off a lot in the last couple of years?

If you need any specific advice about Warwick (hotels, restaurants, pubs, facilities) let me know and I will help where I can.
If it is National Grid/Telent or anything on that technology park, be mindful of traffic around there morning/evening rush hours and lunchtimes, it can be painful.

Simples, if it does come live and you need advice just shout when it happens.

Just in case anyone reading this needs it the traffic situation around that end of Warwick is particularly poor right now (worse since my original comment and could get even worse) - beyond painful - antidepressants needed! Do allow a fair window if travelling to that Technology Park or trying to make a swiftish getaway. (Roadworks and nearby construction).

I've committed the cardinal sin of applying via a different agent as they were still listing the gig - not likely anything will happen.

I have noticed that 2 of the permie roles I got turned down for recently (at least, unusually, I got a response) have been relisted. Surprise surprise.

I did that once and still got the gig.

First agent went completely quiet for a few weeks after I'd had original contact with them and sent my CV.

Saw a very similar sounding role advertised with a different agent and applied. Turns out the role had been farmed out to several agencies by now and this second agent was the last one to be invited.

I got the offer and the first agent appears out of nowhere claiming they should be getting the commission.

I was quite transparent with the client hiring manager and he was very good and sorted it, basically saying the second agent was the one who placed me. The first agent was on their PSL so I guess was able to make up for it with other hires there later.
